![]() ![]() We enjoyed our time at the park but always had a hard time with the office. We stayed here for a little over 3 years. I would love to come back, but we were not made to feel welcome or like we were valued customers. It says a lot about a park when you're treated that way. I was disappointed that's where club members go. And there were plenty of nicer open sites elsewhere. Our site had giant tree roots where we couldn't get our daughters wheelchair over. Also, we belong to Thousand Trails camping club and were given a site just past the garbage dumpsters and propane tanks, across from the storage area. Disappointed we were not informed of where to keep safe, since all buildings were locked down. The park closed up for 2 days during our stay due to tropical storm, leaving us feeling abandoned. Did love that there was a handicap lift into the pool for our daughter, but the water was too cold for her. Expected heated pools according to their website. The universe wanted us to stay here and we are so glad we did. We were so shocked at how well kept, clean, quiet and beautiful the park was. We did not originally choose this place to stay because the pictures on Google did not make the park look 1/2 as nice as it really is. No problem! They welcomed us in, asked us if we wanted to move spots or stay where we were and immediately ensured our trip would not be ruined with nowhere to stay! The staff was top notch and 5 stars all around. The staff in the office already knew our situation and that we were looking for an additional 8 nights to complete our family trip. We got hooked up for the night and went to the front desk in the morning. We were only minutes away and we were met at the front gate with a smile, paperwork, directions to our spot etc. He told us he had 1 spot that we could use for the night and to NOT sleep in the walmart parking lot (which is where we were going to end up). We called the emergency number and it was immediately answered. We started calling around and Winter Quarters was closed, but had an emergency number. What a pleasant surprise! Long story semi-short: We thought we had booked elsewhere and after traveling over 10 hours realized that we had indeed booked our intended spot. You won’t regret it I promise! I’m a travel nurse and have to sleep during the day and have never had any issues. Bring the kids or grandkids and the pets and enjoy a weekend or a few months. For the price you just can’t beat it, friendly staff, maintenance is always on call if you need anything. We haven’t had a problem yet and we’ve been here a month. The WI-FI here isn’t that great but if your staying a month or longer Spectrum will come out and install internet. Just quit being cheap and pay a few extra dollars and get a premium site. There was a review saying the sites by I-75 were loud and obnoxious, well they’re cheaper and clearly state on the page that it’s by the highway so there will be some noise. The sites are plenty big and they have many selections on where and what sites you want. The laundromat is nice, you do have to download an app and pay that way but it’s nice and much easier than Having carry around coins or cash and on the app it tells you the time on when the clothes will be done. The pond has plenty of nice sized fish for those that want ti catch and release. There’s a nice area to grill at the community center. ![]() There’s a nice gym, pool table area, shuffle board, cornhole, horseshoes, and ping pong. 10/10!! This place is fantastic! I’ve seen all the negative reviews and everything but let me tell you this place is Great! Very quiet and clean. ![]()
